Friends,

I've recently taken posession of my LE 6921 and I think I'm going to buy a Trijicon TA45R-4 Compact ACOG for it. The optic will be on a LaRue Tactical compact ACOG mount.

What type of BUIS do you recommend for this rifle, optic, and mount combination? I'm interested in a folding BUIS and not a rear sight reproduction.

I'm also intrigued by the TA31RCO-M4CP. Has anyone used this item and what do you think of it?

Thanks for your time and effort!

Sincerely,

Joel N.

I've been using the Troy flipup front and rear and am happy with them. My biggest priority was that they flip down and stay down, and the Troys do that very well for me.

Rob,

Thanks for taking the time to post a reply. Was hoping for more responses, but 'twas not to be.

Seems like we are Compact ACOG brothers.

Yes, the compact ACOG is kind of the red-headed stepchild of the optics world. Although I prefer to think of it as the best kept secret.

Personally, about the only compact ACOG I would look at is the TA33 series. Best eye relief of just about any of them.

For rear BUIS, The Troy is a quality choice.
