Grant,

What is your opinion on the ACR, and have you had a chance to put some rounds through one?

I do not have an opinion at this point as I do not have enough rounds down range (Yet).

The color is actually darker than FDE. All accessories and items for this rifle are done in black or brown only.

I was about to call you a liar, but there it is, right on the bag of parts:

"Basic ACR Coyote Brown"

Is that because Coyote Brown is an actual Mil-spec color and FDE seems to be just a commercial color?

GRANT- is the top pic with flash and the bottom pic under CWF? That is some wicked metamerism!

The federal color chip for "Coyote Brown/FDE" is a bit darker than what most companies call FDE. So the ACR would fall inline more with the federal color chip I think.

The pics differ because of the angle at which I took them.

Bushmaster's website say they are using CHF barrels and can be had with either a 1in9 or 1in7 twist barrel.

So what's the difference between this and the "Remington" version that's due out later?

In magical pixie dust land they can be had in caliber and twist you want!

Unfortunately we live in the real world and i do not believe those options are available yet.

Grant, do you have the ability to order these with 1:7 twist barrels yet?

Doz- Why that color and not FDE? I like your FDE best since it is the least 'coyote' out there - a bit darker and less red.

When do you think you will have in the Enhanced model in FDE?

I know I'm not alone on this - looks good, but is just stringing me along until BM wakes up and realizes that most people with the budge will want them in 1:7 Lightweight Enhanced.

I don't really know if the 1/7's are able to be ordered yet (haven't checked).
