We recently got in our shipment of upper receivers from a DoD supplier that FN used before they started making them in house. Sabre Defence also uses these receivers when they cannot make enough in house.

Fit/finish is outstanding and they feature T-markings, HA finish, teflon coating inside and can be had with or without M4 cuts.

According to the forge markings thread (https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=5357), the keyhole means they are made by Cerro forge. Grant, are these the same people who make your FN-contracted bolts and carriers?

No way. They are higher quality than that.

I would have picked a couple of these up the other day when in Grant's shop, but he was going to make me install FA and Dust covers.
Neat trip anytime I go to his shop:D

Grant any plans on putting complete stuff together out of the FN contracted parts?

Doesn't the keyhole mean that they were merely forged by Cerro? They could have been machined at any number of places.

To my knowledge, FN only contracts out certain things and I do buy everything that they contract out. Keep in mind though, FN buys these parts in the white and tests/finishes them in house.

I don't want anyone spreading rumors that they bought an authentic FN whatever when you cannot by parts direct from FN.

I will be putting these upper receivers BCG's and barrels from Noveske, Loather Walther and a couple other companies and offering a nice package.

Yes, they are forged by Cerro (considered to be one of the best), but are machined at on partcular facility.
