I have a SA XD 45 ACP. When I load the mags with the rounds, I herd some rattling inside. The spring is holding to rounds and I am Having no issue firing it. Is there anyone who may know what is causing the rattling in the bottom if the mag?

All of mine pretty ever have rattled except maybe 8 round P7M8 mags. I think it's normal.

Doesn't see right. Why would they do that. I don't understand.

Nothing wrong unless it's going to drive you nuts. Sometimes downloading 1 round will fix it. Sometimes slapping the rear to seat the rounds back against the mag tube. But it's done it to me on 1911's, Glocks, XD's, Sig's, HK's.

I have noticed the same thing with my M&P9, FNP40, and cheap aftermarket (Khan) G17 mags. The M&P mags do it occasionally, the FNP mags do it only when loaded with an even number of rounds, and the Kahns.....well they were about $7 a piece. So far none of those mags have given me any trouble, so in my experience its nothing to worry about. Unless of course like mentioned before, it just drives you nuts like it does me.

It only does it when the mag is out of the mag-well. Untill I load it into the pistol it does drive me up the wall, I must say. It seems to me there is nothing really can be done.

Shooter, the slight compression of the top round when inserted might move them enough to prevent the rattle.

My P30 .40 mags rattle when 13 are loaded, when downloaded to 12 it stops. Not a big deal.
