Flying out of Baltimore with a handgun!

Anyone here familiar with flying out of Baltimore with a handgun? I am familiar with the TSA requirements, however am inquiring about Baltimore itself. Will I get hemmed up walking in to the City with a gun in my bag, locked and stowed of course. Is it like chicago where they arrest you on sight for possession of a handgun?

While MD has stupid gun laws, they won't arrest on sight for having a gun.

To stay out of trouble, keep the mags empty, the gun unloaded and only transport it to where ever you're staying and the airport (or place of shooting, formal or informal, gun store, gun smith, or gun show) per Maryland law.

Best thing to do is call the airport you plan to fly out of and see what the requirments are.

And remember, do not let them put any "special" sticker on your bag that has the gun in it. That only makes your bag a priority for thieves.
