Well i got two questions...
1. What is a good/realiable rail mounted sling swivel?
2. How do i attach a sling to a lmt sopmod stock?

These two are nice, Midwest Industries makes some for a little less:

Here is something that works for the LMT:

Or you can use a mount that attaches to the rear of the receiver. It all depends on how you wish to run the sling. Once you figure that out, you should be able to search any store for what you need.

Thanks orion. That helps out alot. Especially the links. I think what i will probably end up doing is waiting on a sling and try seeing how it would be mounted most comfortably. How does the thing for the SOPMOD work though?

I have both the Daniels Defense and Gear Sector rail mounts for QD sling swivels. Both are very strong but the design and appearance put Gear Sector way ahead IMHO.

Like Orion said, you need to figure out how you want to run the sling. Some guys like QD, some don't. Some don't care. The SOPMOD (most other stocks too, I believe) has two slots to thread the sling through in order to attach the sling more permanently using its own buckles.

It's all in how you want to run it.
