I got a magpul flip-up rear sight for my m4 and would like to know what the mil spec distance in inches is suppose to be from the front sight? Anyone?

What? Just place the rear sight at the rear of your upper reciever. The longer your sight radius, the more stable/accurate your shooting.

I'm not sure about the distance in inches. Just put it on the very first slot from the rear of the receiver, the one before the slot marked T2. Make sure you're pushing the MBUS towards the front of the slot as you tighten it. If you have any blue loctite that will help insure it stays put.

ETA: If you look on the right side of the upper receiver above the forward assist there will be a little shape that looks like a keyhole. You want the bolt of the MBUS to be lined up with the keyhole. Actually, It'll end up being a tiny bit ahead of the keyhole if you push the sight up to the front of the slot.
