Ripped-off from Dave Canterbury:

Like the idea, due to the small-size/easy-to-stow nature. This has replaced my Max-bag 'o Tricks for keeping on my person or in my vehicle.

Better'an nothin':

Brunton Tag-A-Log
Swedish Fire-Steel
50' Paracord
Gerber Infinity
Large Pill Bottle w/Vaseline'd Cotton Balls
Fox 40 Sharx (I swear it's "Shotgun Loud")

I would like to add some more items. This is supplementing my multi-tool and folder.

I need to figure out how to assemble a compact, EDC-friendly FAK...

I went the bargain route:

A friend of mine has a bunch of Atwood's excellent keychain tools, but I don't have the coin for that so I went with this...

In my weak side pocket I always carry a small Nite-Eyes S-Biner with an LED keychain light (freebie from an auto parts store grand opening - Energizer brand), a Gerber Artifact pry tool, a Leatherman Squirt P4 I got on clearance at Target a few years back.

I've used every tool on it several times over, and really appreciate the utility of such a setup. I carry an EDC pocketknife also (rotates between a CRKT M21, a couple of Spyderco Delicas, and a Benchmade Griptilian) clipped in the strong side pocket.

Along with a folder, multi-tool, and light, I've included a dust mask, small first aid kit, emergency blanket, and a little food. I usually have a few water bottle with me at work as well and water in my car.

Updated. Added pill bottle with chlorine dioxide tablets, and a keychain lighter.

This is the same concept we use in the fire service. its part of our rescue systems for rope rescue.

needs a CRKT/Ritter Mk5 survival knife... or some other small keychain sized knife. perhaps a Spyderco Ladybug.

that would give you a way to cut the paracord or shave tinder for lighting a fire... like you need an excuse to buy a knife!

I like the idea of your bundled together kit. I saw some "Survival necklaces" being sold a while back and was told they were Ranger necklaces so I googled and found what is below. I don't think I would wear it around my neck ........... I don't like gloves, rings or neck jewelery.

I have an old dog tag chain with a P38 can opener, old Boy Scout fire steel, and a scraper on it. I like the concept, though, and I may have to add some more goodies to it.
