i've been a fan of RailRiders adventure-racing and travel pants and have been waiting patiently for them to come out with their tactical pant. the versa-tacs are finally out and here's my writeup (username and password are both 'mm' to view large pics):

actually, that review is 3 years old. my hanwags are my primary hiking boots now, but the sawtooths are still good, mid hikers. i htink they're discontinued, but on sale in some places.

Ouch! I was about to order a set till I saw that. They look really nice, but that's pretty steep for a pair of trousers.
