Would running a Fenix TA30 on a M4 type carbine be a bad idea?

What mount would you recommend? It would be mounted at 3 o'clock. An Insight WX150 currently resides at the 6 o'clock position, but it has a slight amount of back and forward movement with both locking bars. I want something a bit more stable.

If not, what light in a similar price range would you recommend.

Many thanks

I used the word Tactical because it screams kewlness.

I've used both the Fenix TK11R2 & TK20 on my STG's during carbine classes and nightshoots. Both have stood up and worked very well including the other Fenix models I have in the house & car. While I don't think I'd issue Fenix's to guys who jump out of helicopters for a living I've yet to have any problems w/mine.

I used to run a Fenix PD30 on my M4 and its help up so far. I'm definitely saving for a Scout light (the one cell kind) but in the meantime this one works fine.
