Im curious if anyone has done a good side-by-side with the two optics, Im very familiar with TA01NSN's and like the DOC concept (irons on the TA01NSN are too short and close for me to use effectively) and I like the concept behind the 1-4x Elcan optic but have never played with one or seen one in person. I have seen a illustration of one with a doc optic riding piggyback but Im not sure it would be necessary if the Elcan already has a 1x w/red dot setting in it already, someone fill me in on some pros and cons of the Elcan vs. the Trijicon optic.

Elcan sucks, frequent zero shift between 1x & 4x, heavy, bulky, lame 1920 external adjustment mechanism, much of view occluded from knob on R L of optic.

+1 Not a fan of the Spectre -- maybe they will get it right -- but the external adjustments and the fact the mount is designed poorly (all impacts go into the windage and elevation mechanisms) that I dont have high hopes.
