Need Scope rec's - two scopes for about 1K

Howdy from Texas....

I have two guns, a Rem 700 police and a M1A that I would like to put a good scope on.

Due to money going to other preps, etc, I would like to find a good scope for each gun, both for under 1,000.00 total. The rings will be separate (Badger).

Any favorites, ideas? Any help is *greatly* appreciated.

Looking for specific recommendations and why/what they bring to the table.

I'd look at Burris XTR's, 1.5-6X for the M1A and the 4-16X for the M700. If you are LE you should get change back from your grand.

I also recommend the Burris for your 700. However, I prefer the Black Diamond 8-32x50.

I think you can still get 8% off from the Bing Cashback program. I think they are doing away with it by July 30. I think it has been mentioned on this forum in the past. You can save a lot of money with it.

Simple 3-9 FFP Super Snipers on both. 599.00 retail each. Great scopes and have shown better durability to me than the Burris. has.

Try the Zeiss Conquest line. The value is phenomenal.
