As the title states. It is for a standard 16" AR. Tried the search but nothing solid.

They make discreet breakdown rifle cases in may colors for urban camo. I own 2 and am very pleased. Well put together, plus lots of extra room for mags, optics, cleaning supplies, even a secondary plus holster and mags. Very inexpensive for the value.

I have one of these.

I cut some dense foam for the bottom compartment and it fits my 16"er just fine. It is a GREAT range bag as it has the room for all my gear, and it looks like I am on my way to the gym when I walk out of the house with it.

Their Covert Rifle Bag allows you to carry your 16" AR assembled with mag inserted ready to go. It's got extra pockets for gear and even a small chest rig or BOB. I've got several and have used them in urban environments without ever raising an eyebrow.

Wow, the Castle Rocks are pretty cool and made in the USA. I am going to have to choose which one to get. I was considering one from Elite survival systems, but with these choices, I may reconsider.

The castle rocks come with inner straps to lock down you upper/lower. Plus 6 magazine pockets and 2 utility pockets. Good bags.

oh snap! in with the sneaky civy style bag!

No one thinks twice about what is in that bag, and at 50 bucks or what ever I payed for it, couldn't ask for more.

I like it... It could make a nice range bag, or discrete class bag (in hotels and such). I can't see what it's made out of. Is the material thick/rugged enough? Will it hold up to overloading it with ammo/gear and general abuse?

Any chance you have pics of its repurposed use?

From the mfg website,

http://www.highsierrasport.com/Item?number=7164&lang=en
Size: 26.0" x 13.0" x 12.50"
Capacity: 3356 cubic inches
Materials: 600-Denier Duralite® Ripstop, Mini-Hexagon Ripstop

Unfortunately I do not have pictures with me, and I will be away from home for quite some time, but if there is still interest when I get back I will take pictures.

It is plenty durable for everything I have used it for, which I will admit is not as much as some of the more demanding users here would, but when I load up for an IPSC match, it carries quite a bit. I take the gun broken down in the bottom compartment, with the foam as mentioned, 6 mags, battle belt with pouches and holster, cleaning kit with big bottles of oil and solvent, extra sweat shirt and 500ish rounds of ammo. The smaller pockets are nice because I can put my keys, phone, and bore snake in them and keep them separate from everything else. In the side pockets there is room for a few bottles of water and snacks. It also has the option of hide-away back pack straps which is a cool feature if you are humping somewhere far.

I really like the bag, mainly for the usable room it has as well as the ultra discreteness of it, never mind the price. A lot of the cool tactical "discrete" bags I have seen seem to try to keep them as small as possible, which I get, but at the same time what real world use would an odd shaped bag that size be used for? They also seem to cost as much as 3 times as much.

My .02 on the bag, YMMV.
