I'll take 108 in LV over 108 in Richmond any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Yeah, I was in Vegas all last week, and I would take that 108 everyday over 98 here in New Orleans. Them boys were dying, and i was loving it. AT least i could breathe. LOL

That's what we tell tourists when they bitch about the heat.

Absolutely. One of the things I don't miss about PA.

Haha its been in the 80's and low 90's in TX.....but last year we had over 65 days straight of 100+....:(

we've been averaging about 65 and wet all the way up until today... which is a turn from how it's been for the last few years (on the whole, historically, not that unusual for NW Oregon, however). yesterday was 65.. today is about 85, and it's supposed to be 95 by tomorrow.

95 doesn't bother me- in the middle of the summer. but it's hard to go from dark and cold to blinding and hot literally over night. oregon weather is cooky.

Southern heat makes you perspire so bad that you look like a damned glazed donut after being outside a short time.

That's about what it was out at Drake's Landing during the 5 day Tiger Swan course. Dinger called me up to check in and I said: "Dude...I'm sweating like the wookie out here."

It doesn't seem as bad when you're not in it all day long. It was reading 104 up my way.

It's a cool 68 degrees right now and the high tomorrow is supposed to be 71. Alaska is awesome, even when it's 50 below zero.

I am amazed that GM's bean counters allowed the engineers to put in sensors that would read that high. "how often is it really THAT hot?' :p

93 here and way to damned humid.

108 is not bad -- in the dry West. The humidity is what gets you because you sweat to cool off but due to the humidity the sweat does not evaporate very fast and your body overheats.

I would rather have 100+ in Utah than the 85-95 I grew up with in Massachusetts (let alone the South).

I remember being at our range in NH about 9 or so years ago. On the 4th of July. It was only about 72 degrees out. And I was dying due to the high humidity.

Luckily we are not as hot as Las Vegas though.
