Glock grip reduction?

I am thinking of doing a grip reduction on my G17. Ever since I fondled the G4 glock I realized I want a smaller grip on my glock. Anyway since this pistol is a back up to my M&P9 I have just been "tricking" it out with sights, trigger, and now I want to do a grip reduction.

Has anyone ever done a grip reduction their selfs on here? Just wondering if there is any place I should avoid taking polymer away from or any tips/experience anyone wants to help me with. It seems there really isnt much material you can take away from the grip but I guess I'll find out.

I've started on my G23RTF.
So far I have done the front of the grip. I took off the finger grooves with a Dremel and then stippled with a soldiering iron. I Dremel'd an undercut into the trigger guard so my hand could get all up in that shit better and I also made some shitty looking reliefs at the bottom of the magwell to aid in forceful magazine removal...

All I plan to do for the rear is take some material out of the area where the web of my hand goes. Then frame destruction will cease.
Don't know if it was what you were looking for but there's my input.

well I just did it and I like it! I was very nervous but it all came out ok. The texture is very aggressive but should be perfect.

Looks good. Have you shot it yet? Let me know how the stippling on the very top of the "backstrap" area is. It looks like it will be uncomfortable in the web of the hand. But maybe I'm just not a man yet...

No going to shoot it tomorrow, Ill let you know how it is. If its to aggressive Ill just smooth it out some.
