Not exactly cheap, but not also not seen every day. I spotted some 2006 manufactured Lake City 62gr 5.56 that was released to the civilian market due to mismarked packaging. The good part is that it's actually in stock.

One of my local gunstores has had that pretty regulary for $21.99 for 50 rnds. in a bag... I havn't asked about case prices though, as now is not the time to buy ammo, I am in weapons stocking mode, since ammo has gone up about 25% in the last 2 months, and guns havn't.. I have a good supply of ammo and reloading components, so I am kind of on a ammo purchasing boycott right now, the prices are a violation, You should get a kiss when ya buy ammo these days.. BOYCOTT if ya can.. I am...

I would agree with you on the boycott, but the reality is that ammo prices are simply going higher and higher. I'm buying all I can all the time. Mama is wearing me out about my "pile" getting higher too!!

50 cents a round at CTD? wow...

That loose stuff in bags is probably the M855PD which was supposedly not so good...

Probably the best .223 ammo for combat ever produced in the USA. So scarce in the commercial market we have not sold any in 15 years.

The BEST for combat ever produced....? Uhhhh, yeah, sure.

15 years? Where have they been. Real M855 has been available until the last year or so...

What salesmen.... But the TYPO is interesting...
