Day by Day Armageddon II Beyond Exile (http://www.amazon.com/Day-Armageddon-Beyond-Exile-Book/dp/143917752X/ref=pd_ts_b_51?ie=UTF8&s=books).
It can be summed as a tactical zombie, end of the world, gun loving, survivalist book. He's an active duty naval officer and a hard core shooter. Some of you have met him.
Oh crap, I need to order mine ASAP!!!

Mine was ordered Sunday, I can't wait.
I would have never encountered DBDA if it wasn't for Littlelebowski...tell your friend that you deserve royalties.;)
Looks like yet another thing this site has me spending money on. :D
Thanks for the heads up. Just 'Kindled' it. The first one was an enjoyable read.

He's been approached by three producers; nothing serious yet.

Cool deal. My friend Lora loaned me her copy of Day by Day, and frankly I was skeptical about a "zombie" book, but she insisted that I'd probably dig it.
She was right. I thought it was really well done.
I'll definitely have to pick up the second installment. I appreciate the heads up.

As a little perk, this guy is one of us. Not a left winger by any means :D
He's currently considering a KAC SR15 (wrote KAC rifles into his second book) and we shoot and train together a good deal. He's also enjoying his DDM4 thanks to the reviews on this site.
Well I have been a big fan of DbDA so Friday I went out and bought the second book for an upcoming trip. Unfortunately I finished reading the book last night so now I'm not sure what I'll read on the plane...
I guess I could read the first and second books back to back ;)
Never considered reading a book about zombies before, but I'm currently on page 40 of the first one and liking it.
Looks like a few good books for this summer. Just bought 'em both at Amazon.

check out World War Z afterwards, great book as well
Great stuff! I just plowed through the first book (Friday and Saturday), and ordered the second book today :)

I hope whoever does it has good consultants and has good gun handling in there. Michael Mann quality or better TTPs, anything worse than that is unbearable to watch. I am into the second book right now.

Im reading the first book now, and there are some coincidences with Zombieland. Obviously the first book came out a while before Zombieland, but I'm getting the idea that a few small details were incorporated from a fan of this book for the Zombieland script. Pretty cool :D
I'm a big reader but not usually this sort of ting. But any friend of LL's...I ordered the Kindle version and am reading it on my iPad. Pretty darn good.
Thought this deserved a bump.
Just finished Beyond Exile and loved it! The first book was very good but on the short side. This was better and longer.
... Hopefully a third book will pop up on Kindle before too long.
I bought both books because of this thread. I read the first one in a day. The second took me several days. This is not my first first choice if books but they were excellent. I find myself thinking ifthe books often. Today in traffic I thought of the book several times because of the traffic and then because of te use of the highway as a landing strip and the interesting use jersey barriers towards the end of book two.
I'll bight. Can't believe I missed this thread when it was originally reported.
Can't wait to read this series.
If anyone would like the books I have both. PM me.

I really enjoyed both books, as did my wife. We are both waiting for the third.

I just bought book 1 for a friend's bday that likes zombie stories. She's gonna start reading it soon.
I read the 1st book and couldn't put it down. I usually spend a week reading a book: this one took 2 days. World War Z was good, but Day by Day Armageddon is more compelling. I am eagerly awaiting shipment of the second novel.
