I ordered this gun in feb. It showed up at my dealer on Monday. Of course I was out of town on business. Funny thing I got the call that my CCW permit was ready to pick up today too ! The moons must be aligned correctly for all of this to happen on the same day. Drove straight from the airport wednesday and picked it up....along with about 1500 rounds of various ammo types to test. He had a great deal on 50 packs of ranger of all calibers so i couldn't pass it up. What a beautiful gun that fits my hand like it was designed to be apart of it. Pictures are enclosed below. I stripped and cleaned it. Finally shot it this saturday and put about 200 rounds of ranger .40 cal through it and 200 rounds of walmart winchester through it as well. All I can say is wow.....the grips, the beavertail and the short reset trigger really make this gun a pleasure to shoot. I am a decent shot, but this gun made it too easy. The short reset trigger is a thing of beauty. Double taps were effortless and everything went exactly where it was aimed with ease. The recoil was near non existant. Sig really got this gun right and the wait was worth it.

I fired a 229 a while back and was really impressed with the accuracy as I've never carried .40 before and shot it rarely.. I have been planning on ordering a 229 for awhile, now it looks like I want one in SS.. That is pretty sweet!!! Congrats and enjoy!:D
