View Full Version : M&P9 + G19, same holster?

If this fits in the Gen4 G19 thread, I would be forever indebted if a mod would move it.

I'm currently carrying an m&p9 + TLR-1 in a safariland 6280 holster. I'm absolutely smitten with the Gen4 Glock19, but really don't want to have to do an entire holster change (I'm pretty well invested in my M&P's..)

It's my understanding that the 6360 will work for both M&P and Glock 17/19, can anyone verify if the same is true in my circumstance?

My understanding is that the M&P is a lot closer to the G21 as holsters go. My M&Ps won't even remotely fit in my G19 rigs.

I had my M&P fit in an Uncle Mike's IWB G19 holster.

I recently gave a friend of mine my M&P9 Crossbreed Supertuck holster because it fit his G19 so well(and I no longer used it).

...It's open at the muzzle though.

Was that because the m&p was wider? My hope is to do the reverse of above, so hopefully it will work...

I don't know about the Safariland holsters specifically but a G19 has fit well in every FS M&P holster I have tried it in.

My M&P9 will NOT fit in a Comp-Tac CTAC molded for a Glock 19.

I'm actually looking to do the opposite (g19 in an m&p holster). Reports like these seem to indicate the m&p is slightly bigger so it may work..

My G19 fits very well in a Sparks Executive Companion made for a M+P 40. It is a little shorter than the M+P but still works great.

I'm not sure how the the addition of the TLR-1 would change the equation.

Might be slightly off topic but I'm pretty stocked up on 6378s for my 17 with an X300. My M&P9 will not fit...
