Many of us here do. I prefer it to the standard redi mod, and used one at work for a few years. In the end, I decided I really didn't need it and it tended to get in my way when inside of vehicles.

I am left handed, and had issues with the angle of the magazine release lever when using my left trigger finger to release the spare mag. I bent mine out a bit to make it easier for me.

In my line of work, the Redi-Mag really shines. Having 60 rounds on the gun is essential for a call or incident that requires a fast bail out when I cannot snatch my other gear.

All I can say is to try it, and if after you train extensively w/ it, it doesn't cut the mustard, sell it.

Good luck.

I have an additional question about the Blue Force Gear Redi-mod. How well does paint stick to its corrosion-resistant salt bath nitride finish?

I want to paint my AR and am waiting until after I can buy the Redi-mod before painting it.
