been wondering this. i know the 2 are very close but can you resize a 5.56 case in a 223 and lod it as a .223?
i have probably 400 5.56 cases that i have looted from the shooting range and am wondering if they are worth keeping or not.

There is no difference in the case sizes between .223 and 5.56. It's exactly the same brass.

ETA - Be careful with range brass - some may have already been reloaded multiple times.

understood, i know that it could have been loaded already but wasnt sure if there was any diffrence in the brass.
so how does the 5.56 have so much more pressure than the .223 does?
