View Full Version : $13 30RD PMAG
Is $13 a good price for a nonwindow flat dark earth PMAG? The BX here in Iraq just got some in and I'm thinking about picking up 3 or 4.
I just looked and they're $14.20 at 44mag .com, so yes not a bad price. They may go for less somewhere else, I haven't watched mags closely here lately.
I typically see them going online for ~$13 apiece so I feel that it's a decent price. Not sure if you could get them stateside for less with a .mil discount but all things considered, they're right there. Something to be said about instant gratification. :)

The best price I have found for a Non window version is on DSG Arms' website. They are having a "Going Green" sale for all of the magpul folaige and OD products. Non Windowed Pmags for just over 11 dollars but when you add in the shipping you are around what you are paying. Also pretty sure that "green" gear would fit very well in your AO. In short that is a pretty decent price.

Selling them at a BX in theater? No kidding? That's awesome.
$13 is a good price. Barring any "clearance" sales, Brownells is one of the cheapest places to buy them in CONUS. With a .mil discount, they're just slightly less than $13.
Buy with confidence.
thats a great price especially since you don't have to pay for any shipping and handling... GO FOR IT!!!
I would say that is a great price. Here locally they go for $30. Which is why I always buy those online.
I bought a 10-pack of FG WINDOWED Pmags from DSG in January. $89, free shipping because they screwed up my AFG order in Dec. and never got me shipped when I was the first to call...
That is a good price and you will have them right away. I'd jump on it.

Good price, good gear.
Good price, good gear.
+1. I got my last few from my FFL for $13 OTD. Last week I saw some at Camp Perry on sale (don't remember the vendor) on manufacturers row for $11 or 12........ plus tax.
Magpul has minimum pricing guidelines and usually sticks to it but occasionally dealers can drop below that. If you find them below $14, it's generally a pretty good deal.

Buy as many as you can afford. That's a deal!!
I get mine from Brownells for about 12.80 a piece. 13.00 is definitely good. Just make sure that you can get them back CONUS since some members have stated that they have had problems doing so with mags and weapons related stuff.
Ghost that sounds like a great deal! I would say go for it bud! But one thing and I must say that I am former Army and not downrange but you hinted at a 30 round PMAG. One caveat, through military and 3 gun experience, do not load them to 30 rounds. This may cause a problem getting them fully seated with the bolt closed. In your position this is a scenario that may mean the difference between life and death. Load 28 rounds in a PMAG. Said problem solved. Hope This helps brother and God bless while downrange.

I'm going to pick up 4. I just don't like the color, but who can complain for the price.

Those retail (non mil/leo) dealers who do are in violation of their agreements. Of course, most of them don't care as they know they won't be caught.
Things like pre RevM PMAGs for cheaper are probably OK since they are no longer being shipped by Magpul. I am talking current production.
