I seem to remember finding a website for a gunsmith who could add tritium inserts to the 10-8 rear sight a while back, but for the life of me I can't find it now.

I know a lot of people prefer a dark rear sight and a glowing front sight, but like to have something to indicate the rear sights as well.

Does anyone know of a company which can add tritium inserts to a 10-8 rear sight?

You may be thinking of Tooltech Gunsite (http://www.tooltechgunsight.com/index.html).

I had them install a tritium vial at the bottom of the U-notch on my 10-8 rear sight and it came out really nice. If I remember correctly it ended up around $80 for the sight, shipping to and from, and their cost. For that price you could probably find a factory rear with the same options such as Warren tactical.

If that is not an option and cost is not an issue, I would have no problem recommending their services.

I hope this helps.

They are expensive but do quality work. Email them to see if they can send you some pics as they used to have some of the 10-8 rear with tritium inserts before changing around their website.

Yup, beat me to it, though there are some other Trijicon OEM's that might be able to install them. I'm probably going to go with the Ameriglo Orange front and Tooltech/10-8 rear on my M&P.
