Lee Bulge Buster Question

I purchased a Lee Bulge Buster recently. The directions say that I also need a Lee crimp die. Does anyone know if this HAS to be a Lee Crimp Die or if a crimp die from any manufacturer will do? Thanks.

it is a pretty safe bet you have to use their factory crimp die. Their factory crimp dies also have a carbide sizing ring in them (pistol caliber factory crimp dies) and that is what is doing the work here. It is just coincidental that it also crimps for what it is doing.

I would guess that you could use a true sizing die with the decap pin removed as well but that is just a guess.
