Whats a Reece Style AR???

OK I gotta ask, what is a Reece style AR???

I'm sure I've seen pics of one before, but did not know what it was from another AR...

So what is it and what makes it a ""Reece Style""???

I did google for it and used the search here, but did not really find the answer...

Recce rifles were built in the beginning at Crane but were quickly replaced by what is now known as the MK 12 or SPR rifle.....so the Recce Rifle never really existed....its concept lived on with us AR builders but in terms of military its was dropped. Sometimes these are referred to as the Seal Recon Rifle or just Recon rifle. Basically its just a 16" match grade barrel, 12" plus long rail, and a medium powered compact scope.

This is one of my builds that is more or less a Recon rifle.
