Sadly, no. That said, the news station picked him out of all of the candidates. They said it was a random drawing of all participating candidates, but I highly doubt that. Something tells me they picked him for comedy purposes while getting to take a shot at the conservatives. Not to worry, he doesn't have anything mentionable for a campaign and most people here haven't even heard of him.

In my opinion, the real race for governor will be between Zach Wamp and Bill Haslam, with the nod going to Zach Wamp. Both being Republicans, it simply depends on who wins the primaries.

This borders on cruel. Who let this poor man run? His family should be ashamed of themselves. This poor guy needs their protection, not to be put in the public spotlight.

The station said they are giving all the candidates time on the air to talk about the topics of their choosing. He was going to have to speak at some point. So, its really not a shot at conservatives. Well, at least not one from the news station. I think he took care of it himself.

I feel bad for the guy. Really.

If this makes me a bigot, so be it...but I don't think the mentally handicapped make for good chief executives.

On the other hand, even with his obvious impairment he'd still probably do a better job than half the people in Congress, so maybe I'm wrong about that.

Oh, good grief! This joker lives in the town of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, that is in my work territory. I remember seeing his picture posted arround town, but he was wearing a red blazer with all the bling on it. I didn't know what to make of it when I saw him a year ago.:confused:

He's listed as FR on his website, I tend to doubt it. I believe those are gold jump wings.
