I got a new Recon upper a few months ago and finally got around to putting it on a lower. This is my second Recon upper. I noticed that the integral QD swivel sockets (in/on the rails) look like they're missing anodizing, or rather like they're treated with a spotty bluing finish (i.e. it has flecks of black finish on it while the rest of it looks unfinished). My other Recon upper isn't like this and the sockets are a solid black. It looks like it's been worn off.
Anyways... are any of yours the same, with the "spotty" finish? I'd call Noveske to check and see if this is normal, but they're already closed for the day. Just thought I'd check here.
