Does anyone have a proven XM193 type recipe? I am about to load 2k rounds and have some recipe ideas but I am looking for other opinions. Thanks

My basic 55 grn FMJ load is 24 grains of AA2230,,Wolf Primer and LC Brass. I have never really sat down and done a accuracy test with scope and such,,,but it shoots & funtions well out of all my rifles ! :) I have a 18 inch a 16 inch & a 14.5.

I load with 55 grain Montana gold with H335 at 25.0 grains. I use mixed brass with Win. primers. This get about 2900 feet per second out of my 16 Mid length BCM.

How do you like the montana gold 55 gr fmj? Do they seem like pretty decent bullets for the price? I've intended to pick up a case sometime, you haven't had any complaints about them?

I loaded up about 7000 of them so far and they work great. I've load with both Winchester bullets and IMI bullets, the Montana Gold seem to just as good.

I would load up using WC844 or H335 and a chrono to see when you reach about 3200fps if really wanting to get near M193. But you may be better off loading using the ladder method to get the most accurate round for your rifle while having lower than M193cup pressure and also longer brass life...

That's just MHO
