I am interested in the model shooting the gun. If I buy her do I get $50 mail-in-rebate? :D

That sounds like a good deal. How much do J-Frames usually go for? I am thinking of getting a BUG and the other day I though about the J-Frame but I truly know nothing about it.

I wouldn't pay more than $430ish. OMB Guns had no-lock 442's for $398 a few months ago and you can usually find .38 Spl J-frames around the $400 mark if you're willing to do a little leg work. For the .357's it seems like $600 or so will get you close.

For a S&W anything I'd call up Grant to ask about pricing. He's a volume dealer with S&W and if anybody can get you a good price, he can.

Send it in anyway, they might surprise you. Others have had some success. If you don't, all you've done is waste a stamp.
