12.5" 5.556 and 6.8 rifles

I was wondering what would be the best ammo choices for rifles with this barrel length. Also please post pics of your 12.5" guns. Thanks :lol:

Don't have pics immediately available, but non-barrier load preferance for both is:

5.56 from 1:7 twist barrel: Hornady 75 grain TAP T1 or load using Sierra 77 grain OTM such as MK 262 or similar loading produced by SSA

6.8 SPC with SPCII Chamber and 1:11 or 1:12 twist barrel: 110 or 115 grain OTM such as SSA tactical load or TAP; Hornady TAP AMAX also works well.
