Ok I know normally this in bad. I always bitch at people when they do it.
But here is my situation. I have a TR21 in an ADM Scout Mount. When placed right up on the end of the upper it is just slightly to close. However when moved forward just a bit more it is perfect.
Now the normal worry of bridging the gap is heat and movement of the rail. Heat is obviously not an issue with this setup but what about movement. The mount clamps in two places, one of which is right over the gap.
