THIS IS A 100 ROUND OR LESS MATCH.
Weather permitting, B&R Guns, Havelock, is hosting the monthly CQB Match on Saturday Aug 14th, at 8 am. Registration starts at 7:30 am. Squadding starts at 7:45 am.
Minimum Caliber: .355/9mm
We offer two divisions:
Open Carry: Pistols and reloads are carried in the open on the belt. Rifles and shotguns start in the low ready position with the bolt forward on an empty chamber.
Concealed Carry: Pistols and reloads are carried in concealment per IDPA rules. No magazine capacity restrictions. If you carry it that way, train with it that way.
Stage Design:
Paper Target Stages may be engaged with pistols, carbines, or rifles. NO SHOTGUN.
Steel Target Stages may be engaged with pistols, pistol caliber carbines (9mm, .40, .45), or shotguns loaded with birdshot. NO RIFLE.
We score all stages major power factor and we use hit factor scoring (points divided by time).
Match Fee: $10
Match Disqualifications:
Any safety infractions including: handling your firearm while not under the direct supervision of the Range Officer (rifles and shotguns may be carried from stage to stage and may be carried to and from the staging area and starting box…anything else, like “show and tell” is “handling”); an accidental discharge while loading, reloading, or unloading a firearm; unsafe firearm handling (muzzle breaks the lateral 180 degree line); and moving while not shooting with a finger on the trigger…to name the most frequent infractions.
The safe area is in the parking lot….muzzle facing your car.
