I finally sold my 21s so I want to order the Ameriglo Hack sights. I called but the guy (Tom I think) is out of the office, but are the sights on the G17 Gen 4 the same as the Gen 3 or did Glock change them?

Ordered a set of the Hack sights last night for the Gen4 19 I picked up on Friday... I saw these sights on a Generation 3 G17 that Hack was using during an Advanced Pistol Course in PA a couple of months ago and they are very much GTG... As Littlelebowski noted, fit is exactly the same between the Gen4 17/19/26 and the previous incarnations of GLOCK compacts.

I put a set on my primary G19 and I'll put a set on my new Gen4 G19 when it arrives. They are awesome sights.

That is what I have read here. I can tell you I have not wanted the mail to bring me something so bad since I was a little kid.

The front sight is a night sight surrounded by an orange outline. The rear sight is black. Here's a picture:

As noted earlier, I ordered the Hack sight set from Ameriglo SUNDAY night and when I got home this afternoon (TUESDAY) the brown truck was waiting for me! GREAT service from Ameriglo...and the set looks fantastic. Should have them mounted by Thursday for an AAR.

Talk about service!!! I ordered on Monday and they were on my porch last night when I got home!! I went ahead and installed them and they are great!! I have and IDPA match on Saturday so I will see how they and my new Gen4 G17 with the unmarked spring runs. Quick question do you guys loctite the front sight on?

Ga Shooter, yes loctite the front you will enjoy the sights. I bought them back in June for my 19 after checking out Kens set when we hosted him for his Advanced Handgun class.

Ameriglo is definitely Tier One in terms of CS.

I have them on a Gen 4 19 and they are giving my Warrens a run for their money. I really like the wider rear. Use the GSSF coupon code for 20% off. I think it still works. Not the best pics since I took them with my iPhone 4.

I have them on my duty Gen 4 22. I shot really good with them in qualification's from 15 yards and in. If I got out farther, I started to get a little out of control. Id say its a combo of the rear .180 notch and me practicing. Great combo...
