Hi there. I am planning to replace my remington 7615 with an semi auto carbine. But unfortunatelly there are only few semi auto rilfes in 223 remington available here in austria. Except the above mentioned oberland arms oa 15 und the hk 223, it would also be possible to get an styr aug z, and an semi auto version of the sig 550. I woud like to geht eiter the oa 15 m4 or the h&k mk223. the sig and the aug are too expensive for my budget. Has somebody experience with the oa 15 or the mk223?

ps: the mk223 is the civlian version of the h&k 416

I would be pleased hearing some infos.

Just out of curiosity what's the price difference between the MK223 and the Sig 550? I'd give my left nut for a Sig (just sayin')

Get MR223 and you will never look back. Most people that I know that got OA sooner or later looked for something else.

You may also look on Czech made Proarms PAR Mk1 - piston AR15 modelled after HK416 with Lothar Walther match barrel. Unlike MR223 you can get it with different barrel lenghts. But only if 16.5" of HK is not good for you - if you are ok with it then by all means get MR223. I love mine ;)
