I've got a colt 6520 and a colt MT6700. I want to put a magpul RVG on both, just wanted to know what kind of handguards i would need for the RVG to fit.

or is there a RVG that would fit the handguards that came on my colts?

You need a rail system to mount an RVG, or you could get the Magpul MOE handguards and mount the MVG to those.

The RVG includes a small section of polymer Picatinny Rail that can be attached to MOE handguards, but I couldn't get the holes to line up on a set of m4 style handguards I had layin around.

Their is also Magpul's MOE Rail Sections, which I believe will bolt to standard handguards, or those by Ergo and Mid West Industries which I KNOW will bolt to standard handguards.

Or as already mentioned you an do the MOE Handguards and the MVG.

Good luck!

Strongly recommend against a vert grip attached to standard handguards, unless it's only purpose is to be attached to the rifle while sitting merrily in a safe.

Why's that?
