The new EOTech 3X magnifiers are shipping out to your EOTech dealer.

They currently come with a mount included. I snapped some pics in the shop. It is using the FTS (Flip To Side) mount.

It will work behind an EOTech or Aimpoint, and give your 3 power magnifiacation on your target.

Push the button on the left side and the 3X optic flips away from view and you are back to the speed of a unmagnified CQB optic

The optic can be removed from the base (via ARMS mount) and stored away when not needed.

Really? Had an optics manufacturer take a look at the Aimpoint 3X and they advised that the glass wasn't all that good. I also believe that the EOTech uses better glass in their magnifiers.

Yes and the 4X version as well.

Are you sure your "optics manufacturer" didn't look at the EOTECH 4x?

The EOTECH 3x we have seen appear to be cheap Chinese made glass with inferior optical qualities to the Aimpoint 3x; on the other hand, the EOTECH 4x appears to be of much higher quality--equivalent or better than the Aimpoint 3x.

100% sure as the EOTech magnifiers weren't even out yet when I sent the 3X to be reviewed.

The 4X is better than the 3X magnifier, but still fell that the EOTech 3X is better than the Aimpoint 3X. It is also a lot cheaper.

Are these compatible with the current batch of 3x mounts? (More specifically the LaRue 3x flip mount)
