Just saw this. I could give my two cents as to why it is a bullshit decision, but maybe one of our guys here can shed a better light on it.

I think history has showed us that it doesnt really matter what "deadlines" are made on PSCs. Certain companies will remain regardless; as long as there is conflict and money to be made.

I do not understand the hostility of war zone countries to private security contractors. The only reason contractors are there is because the natives are totally incapable of providing their own competent security force.

By the way, does Karzai have an ALL-AFGHAN security detail at this point?
