B C M extractor spring upgrade kit

looking at the pictures in bravo companys listing for the above i have to ask , what is the black extractor insert do/ and for ? thanks.

It goes into the larger end of the extractor spring. All ARs should have a buffer in the spring. Colors vary, black is the correct one to use.
