Heck yes

Did it for a carbine class. More time thinking, less time jocking mags. "spoon" works on pmags too. Bit of a technique to charge them, gloves help with making sure that stripper edge doesn't 'paper ut' hand.

for target shooting. No

Doesn't make sense to me unless your buying the ammo that comes with them pre-attached. I don't see how taking the time to put the ammo on the clip and then into the mag is faster than just putting them in the mag with a lula. BUT I've never used the clips so I have no clue!

Sure do. I load my rounds into stripper clips, then into a bandoleer for storage/easy transport. When it's time to load a magazine, then I use the Maglula Striplula. Takes about 7~8 seconds to load a 30rd PMAG. Gives you more time to hydrate at training classes.

i use them all the time. saves time at the range or out in the desert. i load them up while watching tv etc, so there's no 'extra' time spent.
i use a striplula to load the mags instead of the USGI spoon. works awesome.

I use them. I load them up when I've got nothing better to do so I can just throw them in mags when I'm ready to hit the range.

I had never even heard of the striplula before this thread. Does it really work as well as in the video on their website?

I use them as well, pre-loading them for when I need them.

Another vote for stripper clips. They save a lot of time, space, and bother.

What amazes me most about them is the number of people who have never seen or used one. Went to a carbine class a year or two ago and had some folks who I thought would've known better ask, "that's neat, how'd you do that?"

it's the best loader i've used so far for loose rounds and stripper clips. i prefer it to the maglula and c-mag loader.

All of my ammo is on Stipper clips. I use the Beta C-mag loader for all my mags.

Better. Really does speed up the loading. Simple to use, compact and light. Well worth the money, IMO.

Yes I do.... I put 3,000 rds of ammo on stripper clips/bandoleers/ammo cand on Sat. Makes range trips and carbine classes easier....

How fast can you load a mag with stripper clips? Just asking because in Ohio we cannot have loaded mags in a vehicle. Makes it a pita when going to the range.

A few seconds with a loading spoon....

I use them on my USGI magazines. I never tried with a PMAG. I keep several magazines loaded too boot. I had no idea the striplula existed. I will have to pick one up sometime.

My have always come pre-loaded with M855 in carboard sleeves and bandoleers. The link is just to show what I am talking about and I have no stake in any sales.

Repack 840 rounds at a time in USGI bandos and a 5.56 can;)
I include a charger in each bando too

All of my ammo is on Stipper clips. I use the Beta C-mag loader for all my mags.

This is basically the only time you should you use a Stripper Clip, although, those .22 Ruger mags would be a heck of alot easier to load!

Got HUNDREDS of 'em. Very handy, and they do stack well-inside an ammo can anyway. Found out that 1100 rds. of 5.56mm in stripper clips fits VERY SNUGLY inside a .50 cal. ammo can.

Ya want some, Lance? Can give you in the next CPRA rifle match.:p

I actually got 2 chargers and 30ish strippers. Just looking for other uses :D or how other people use em :D thanks for the offer though :D

I guess since my ammo comes in boxes with the plastic 10 round carriers I have no need to think about using stripper clips.
