DD uppers difference

I've looked on the website and searched here and the only thing I can find different about the different versions they have are the type of rail. Is that all it is or am I missing something? Thanks

They will vary in barrel profile, gas system length, rail configuration, and how the barrel is manufactured. Is there a particular set up you desire?

16" barrel, I think they are all CHF now, 12" rail, mid-length gas system, I plan on ordering one without the fixed front site and having them put on a gas block, don't really care about it being light weight or pencil barrel but if it fits all the above requirements it wouldn't matter to me.

The 16" middy is the M4 V3, although it has the front sight base and 9" rail. To get a 12" rail, just call DD directly and see what they can do. Or give Grant a call at G&R and he can build one for you with everything you want, and at a great price.

The DDM4V5 is coming out shortly. It's a middy with a 12" Omega rail. Looks very nice for those not wanting a FSB.
