New 45auto, I have a hk45c, just traded in a 1911 for a P7m8 Hk...

Thinking about an M&P 45 thumb safety model or SIG P220 Combat or Regular P220 Sig,

Any thoughts...I think the internet has warped my opinon of the newer model SIGS and the M&Ps

What would it be used for? Why not buy a full size HK 45? You already have what many regard as the finest .45 ACP fighting pistol on the planet.

I dont see what an M&P 45 or Sig would do that the HK 45 wouldn't.

Full size HK45. Same manual of arms and the mags can be shared with your 45c. Why in the Hell buy a completely different platform?

Stay away from the Sig .45s. Having been around other officers for years that carried them, and having done a lot of work on them I wouldn't carry one personally.

If you like the HK 45c's manual of arms, I say get a full sized HK 45 or another compact. If you want something different, the M&P .45 is a good choice.
