aperature diameter question between rear buis

Is the aperture on the Hahn Pre. rear larger in diameter than the Matech rear buis? Thanks for any info., its hard for me to see through that little hole on the matech quickly...

You should post the nearest drill bit size that will fit in what you have, in case someone has the other sight he can post what he finds. I'd use the shank end to measure with.

I have both sights. Let me try and measure - it'll be close, I don't have a particularly good way of doing it. I'll be lying a mic across the aperture.

Hahn: approximately 0.115"
Matech: approximately 0.110"

However...

My perception is that the Hahn is quite a bit more open than the Matech which may be a function of the distance of the aperture from the eye. The Hahn mounts with the aperture about 1.1875" forward of the rear of the upper receiver (not the charging handle) - how far is the Matech?
