I must have a "00" since mine has no markings whatsoever on it.

That's probably an 01, I imagine when they originally designed the spring they probably didn't think there'd be future generations..

Correct, the first ones didn't have any markings.

Thanks.. kinda blows my theory out of the water that the sleeve on the inner spring was the addition for the 02 spring to alleviate the binding..
