I'm curious as to wether or not original Type-III's had ferrule caps on the lower handguards? If so, are they all the same or would I have to find an actual T3-era one to achieve the "authentic" look on my Type-III clone? All I've been able to find so far are some East German ones over on K-Var. Would this be my best bet? If anyone has any links or anything I missed please let me know.
One more thing, what are your thoughts on doing a Robar treatment (NP3) on the bolt carrier? I've noticed that in a lot of pictures of original Type-III's the bolt carriers have that hard-chrome/nickel look to them.
