Last gun show I went to, a dealer had a wide variety of m&p pistols to choose from and I noticed something odd about the 40's.

There were two full sized M&P40's, but were differently priced. One was $530 and the other was $540. Both had no safety.

I don't remember which was which, but one had a magazine with the plastic base plate being different in shape than the regular m&p's. I asked the dealer if there were any other differences between the two and came to the conclusion that one was a 14rd capacity and the other was a 15rd mag.

wtf? I should've asked if they had the mag disconnect or night sights but I didn't know of those features at the time for the m&p pistols.

Any body know what I was looking at?

maybe you looked at two different sides of the magazine..would explain the 14 and 15 round.

possibly one model was older than the other.
