View Full Version : Proud Colt LE6920 Owner

After posting here for some time, I'm finally a legitimate AR owner. :D I got a new Colt M4 over the weekend as a birthday present from my lovely wife and I couldn't be more satisfied with the fit and quality. Other than using some Magpul FDE PMAGs I picked up, I plan on keeping the furniture stock and using the iron sights for a while. I hope to go zero next weekend. Pics to follow.

Congrats on the pony, I love mine too. I have a couple with all the bells and whistles but decided to keep the 6920 KISS, the only addition to it was a Vickers sling.

Your wife got you a $1200+ rifle for your birthday? That's pretty sweet... Does she have a sister by any chance?

Congrats!!!!!!

I picked the 6920 and will be picking it up in the next day or so. Alot of my beat partners went with the 6940 because of the rails and flip up sights.

I wanted to stay simple an ordered a T1, MOE handguard, one small rail for my light, a MBUS and BCM Mod4.

Congrats and what a score. My wife is making me wait till Christmas for my 6920. I just have to live with my frankenAR till then. Enjoy the new rifle.

Congrats on the new rifle! Sounds like you found a good one.

My wife bought my LMT MRP CQB for me as well as a Mossberg 590A1 and a Glock 34. Yes, I realize I'm a lucky guy.

If you think you like your colt now, switch out the trigger to geisssele (which I have )or other good quality trigger and it will take your enjoyment to the next level. Best upgrade I did to my 6920.

Quite true, just imagine a bone-stock Colt 6920. I spent several hours this weekend just getting the coating of preservative removed, I'm guessing it's Cosmoline?
