I just recently got a magpul UBR stock for my main 3gun AR. Now I need to get a single point sling setup. I prefer a chest strap to go over one shoulder and under my vest. I'd be open to other options as well.

I notice the UBR has flush cups. What options would you recommend and where can I find it?

many thanks!

I use an Urban ERT Sling that can be used in either Single Point mode or 2-Point Mode. They are pricey but of the highest quality. Available here (http://www.elzetta.com/urban-sentryFAQ.htm).

I grabbed a pig sling off SKD. Looks like a winner. It was exactly what I was thinking in my head about what I wanted. :)

If you are a field operator, then single point slings are horrible!

Two point slings are the only way to go. With a single point, IF you have to go hands free, you have no way to rapidly stow and secure your weapon for foot pursuit, jumping fences, or handcuffing a suspect. Single point slings just leave the rifle hanging and swinging.

With a 2 point sling you can easily secure your rifle against your chest or back and function hands free without concern. The rifle remains in a readliy deployable position.

If you are simply and 'stand and shoot' trigger puller at the range, then a 1 point sling is probably ok. But they sure do look cool!!
