Mods, if this is a dupe, please feel free to delete.

I'm not sure about this guy's background, but I found a couple of the ideas he incorporated to be interesting, such as using fiber-optic cable to get ambient light into his bunker.

I haven't heard of "ballistic foam". The comments range from outright idiocy to nauseating.

If that is a "genuine response" to the times in which we live, I don't think they guy is going to make it very long as the apocalypse. I agree that he did have a couple good ideas, but a lot of it looked to me like he watches too much tv.

"what person in there right mind would build something like that on the enternet becouse he needs to go get hes brain look at becouse that was so dume and out of hes mind."

Saw this awhile ago, just kinda shook my head at some stuff and moved on.

First thing that grabbed me was that I get the feeling his improvised shotguns are worthy of a visit from the feds. Not too sure that sentry system is kosher either (I kinda figure if you can spend $30k to build a bunker, you can spend $250 for a used riot gun).

Additionally, I wouldn't be too happy if I were his neighbor and found that my house was on his list of "resources":

IMO, it's one thing to think it, another thing to put it up online for the world to see.

He did perk my interest in some of his ideas...need to do a little more fine tuning but something to consider. In honesty, I think he simply did it for the attention.
