After I got home from the post office to mail my Form1 for an SBS; I was filing away the copies of the paperwork I made and realized that in the original manufacturer's block I put Mossberg but neglected to put North Haven CT. I'm assuming they will turn the form back to me as incomplete, has anyone else done this, how did it turn out?
Just my luck today that I would notice it after I mailed it. It's been one of those days. Guess I should have checked it 3 times instead of 2.

Just call when it's pending and see if your examiner will add the info for you.

It'll probably get returned. That said, the quickest I've heard lately for approvals has been 16 days.

Thanks guys, I guess it will work out whether they return it or approve it. Lesson learned

I'm betting on the form being returned for the correction, but when you send it back it will be approved very quickly.

Bookhound is correct- they can't make changes or additions for you, even if it's to change an abbreviation for the state into the full name.

My FFL does that a lot or actually does not do that- someone will put IN on their form and he'll request "Indiana." He has them add the rest...

Thanks guys, that was kind of what I figured. I'll just wait and see.

My check cleared today looks like I'm one step closer.

They cash all checks sent to them regardless.

Thats awesome.

I have one going out Monday morning.

My last SBR took eight months, so this is a refreshing change.

Ugh, my checks were cashed on July 13th and I still haven't gotten papers back yet. Guess I'm just unlucky and didn't get a 15 day turnaround... What info do I need if I call them? Just my social security number or will I need copies of the forms or what? I'd like to know where my paperwork is at. I'm ever so impatient.

It should be there shortly, that was about the time mine was cashed. I sent it out 6 July. If you want to check on it, you need the serial number and name it was registered under.
