I have 2 M&P 15s that I like a lot. I am glad to see that most agree these are quality weapons. I need to know what negative impact (if any) to using:

1. Wolf Polyformance
2. Prvi Partisan

These rifles work great with Fed M193 and M855 ammunition. I am concerned that the ammo listed above could damage my rifles. Please advise.

Thanks!!

When I bought my M&P, I bought 2 boxes of Hornady loaded ammo for it. On the way home I picked up 1000 Winchester cases, (to begin with), & started reloading for it.

If you plan on shooting alot, you may want to look into reloading. Initial setup will cost you maybe $2-300 for a kit with a single stage press, but after that, all you need to buy is powder, primers & bullets. You can reload 1000 for well under $250.

Good info. I picked up a Smith MP too. I took a very close look at the Smith and all I saw was quality machining and nice assembled fits. The rifle appears to me to be well made.

(The 4140-50 barrel debate means nothing to me.)
